Question about PC Laptops
My laptop (Acer Aspire 5580) just went flat and wont show any sign of life. i removed the battery and installed it again. But it wouldn't start up. it was running on vista. used for over an year now. so no point of thinking about the warranty card.
I was using it fine in the morning and locked it and went out without closing the lid.
i tried with new power code, looks like power code is fine, when i connect power code to laptop that little light on AC adapter blinks and when i disconnect it from laptop is stays on.
is this usual in Acer laptops?
Remove the adapter plug.
Remove battery and insert again. I use a USB optical mouse, when inserting the battery, the lights will flash a moment. That signs OK.
Try turn on the notebook.
For my 5580, this trick always work. After it is on, I plug in the mains.
