Question about Galaxy Radios DX-99V 40-Channels Base CB Radio
10.249 Mhz frequency can on left side of board by "TR24" going bad or loose. Check it out I've had a couple 99v's that's what it was. GOOD LUCK!!

This sounds like a ground maybe a little loose ground in side the radio. Let me ask you if you can still use the radio with it off of freq. or does totally loose its brains with no rx or tx on right channel while it is displaying the freq. drift? reason i want to know is there is alot circuits that are involved in this radio for both the display and actual freq. error.
