Sorry, the fan is thermally controlled and USUALLY will run at low speed when unit is lightly loaded. In hot weather or driven hard it will run faster and louder.

Whatever you do, do NOT block airflow... these are a dual 400 Watt continuous amp (600 a side peak) and they need to breathe !!!

If you can duct cool air to it, that will help. You could also try sound absorbing baffles while maintaining adequate clearance for airflow.

I need to know where can I purchase a fuse for Behringer PMP2000 10 Channel Mixer

If the fuse blew, you ARE going to need a lot more than a fuse as the cause is usually internal damage to the amp module and or power supply. Replacing the fuse without repairing the cause USUALLY causes more damage.

Hi! I need a SM of my europower pmp 2000

This site for the PMH2000 should be near identicla to your unit:

http://elektrotanya.com/behringer_pmh2000.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "get manual" and click to download schematic. IGNORE other download links.

The HCA2400 amp module in this has a chronic failure and is hard to work on.

My band plugs into the input channels on the SX2442FX mixer, which we then hook up to the PMP2000 to use as a PA. Since the SX2442FX is not a "Powered" Mixer, I figured that we should be going...

Either way will work, however your friend's method probably would be slightly better since it goes through less stages within the PMP2000. The "left and right power amp inputs" are the INPUTS to the power amp in the PMP2000 and hence are the best places to connect the mixer if using the PMP2000 as only a power amp. Note doing this will LIKELY disconnect any other input to the PMP2000 from the power amps in it... that is all the preamps in the PMP2000. DO USE TRS cables!!! and power both units from the same receptacle to avoid ground bounce.

My europower pmp 2000 powered mixer wont turn on and the fuse appears good. I turned it on and it immediately turned off ,nothing smells burnt. any ideas on what it could be

This is likely a power supply failure, possibly brought on by a failure of one of the amp channels.

This is probably close to your supply:

Scroll down to "get manual" and click on that to download schematic. Ignore other download links.

The cooling fan on the behringer 500 doesn't work. The fan is good, but the 24Vdc isn't there.

The fan in this is throttled depending on three temperature sensors on heat sinks in the unit... Until the temp is up the voltage will be far less than 24 volts. Two sensors are on the power amp heat sink and another on one of the heatsinks with the IGBT's in the power supply. The fan will run slow and very quiet until unit warms.
