Code P0452. plus when removing new gas cap there's a lot of pressure in tank

this is an emission system malfunction code. youll need to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor depending on the vehicle it can be located on the fuel purge line coming off the fuel module on the top of the fuel tank or in the top of the tank itself. this could be why theres pressure building up in your tank. try this and it should correct the issue youre having.

Why does a pressure washer suddenly stop working?

Wide range of causes, Gerry. Empty fuel tank, old/bad fuel, or water in fuel. Dirty carburetor. Fuel shutoff valve. Sticking carburetor float valve. Fouled spark plug. Points. Magneto. Shutoff switch. Compression. Sticky valve. Water in intake. Dirty air filter.

Check for fuel at the carburetor, check for spark at the spark plug.

Might be simple - you might simply have flooded it. Let it sit for several hours, then try to start it again... with NO choke at first.

We aare in a home unit with a Rheem 80 gallon electric hot water system installed JANUARY 2011 it and it has issued terrifyingly loud rumbling noises. When I pulled the pressure release lever i t...

1) The pressure release valve is operating correctly and the sound it made is typical.
So pressure release is okay.
Always protect yourself from very hot water that can spray out of pressure release.

2) Rumbling sound is typical sign of sediment build-up inside tank, and usually indicates that tank needs to be cleaned out.
Seems odd that a brand-new tank could have sediment after only 8-9 months.
Did somebody recycle a 'new-looking' heater and sell it as 'new' heater?
Look at label on side of tank, and find brand and serial number to find actual age of water heater:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/WaterHeaterSerialNumberDecoder.pdf

3) Because sound might not be sediment.
You can add a comment and it will send e-mail, and I will continue to answer.
No reason to be terrified of water heater. They are very safe, and homeowner can fix electric water heater same day for a few dollars.

4) Please listen to exactly where sound is coming from.

5) If sound seems to come from the pipes, and pipes are vibrating, then the plumbing is suspect, for example a check-valve, or pressure valve, and we can talk about that when you add a comment.

6) If sound is from inside the tank, then I suggest you turn off power, let water cool, drain water heater, open bottom of water heater, remove element, and check for sediment.

And take advantage of fixya expert assistance live.
For a price, expert works with you while you work on water heater or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Grill wont come on, tank is full, removed line from grill to tank (turned tank off first) there was a lot of pressure build up once I screwed the line. than re screwed back in opened tank. tried a few...

Stephan, repeat what you did before. Except, this time leave the hose disconnected for 5 minutes, before reconnecting it. Also, open the tank valve VERY VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow) until it's fully open. Then light the burner farthest from the tank first and set it on HIGH. If it lights and the flame height looks correct, light the remaining burners the same way. If all the burners lit and the flame heights appear normal, you solved the problem. ALWAYS, open the tank valve very, very slowly.

If the above didn't solve the problem, then you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can pick one up at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories for about $30.00. Be sure to take the old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!!

Locating the intake air temperature sensor on my 1998 nissan pathfinder? Picture would be nice.

it's usually on the air intake plastic tube before the air cleaner. It seldom fails.

what are your symptoms?
You may have a dirty MAF sensor needing spray cleaning with MAF sensor or carb cleaner.

I Have a Stanley air compressor Bostitch model APC-OL6-UK it is spitting brown liquid how do I clean this please

The brown liquid you are getting out of the compressor is water with rust in it from the inside the air tank. Somewhere on the bottom of your air tank there is a valve you need to open from time to time to drain the water from your tank. If you are getting rusty water from the air outlets you probably have a lot of water in the tank. If you can take the compressor outside, with pressure in the tank, where the water won't stain anything and slowly open the valve to drain the tank.

2001 sebring conv 2.7 low fuel pressure where is the fuel pressure regulator location

hi, normally the FUEL PUMP, FUEL FILTER , FUEL REGULATOR at the back under the car near the front of the FUEL TANK. the FUEL FILTER HAS A ARROW and must go FROM THE TANK TO THE ENGINE. if you put it the WRONG WAY AROUND the car will NOT RUN PROPERLY. THE FUEL REGULATOR HAS A SPRING LOADED VALVE AND RETURN PIPE to the tank. THE FUEL PUMP HAS A ARROW TOO. from the tank to the engine. gerry

Water is dissappearing out of resivor, i had the water pump fixed. could it be a hole in the radiator

hi, this seams to be the head gasget this can make (mayonaize white sludge) oil and coolant mixed. putting gas pressure into the coolant. please check the spark plugs (observing the FIRING ORDER) one or more will be extra clean (know as pressure washed). to test this run engine for a few minutes and cafully take off the coolant CAP, you will need a dense large old rag (as scolding may occur). or the coolant CAP seal no good or corosion in the coolant CAP. can also be the thermostat NOT OPENING is OVERHEATING. gerry

Washing machine overflows when filling , will not start agitating, had to set on spin cycle to drain water , what do you think the problem is ? Please advise. Thank you. Mike in alabama.

Sounds like overfill due to faulty pressure switch/ tells water valves to close stop filling/ although could be hole in feed tube feeding pressure switch/ thus drop in pressure take off tube and test if clear also clean under parts its connected to..good luck, gerry scotland
