Re: I need to know how to find the low port to add...
Follow the AC lines and look for a plastic cap. There are 2, The big one is the high side and the smaller one is the low side. Unscrew cap to add freon.

You don't add refrigerant to the compressor . You add it to the low side suction line , not high side . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop.
The low which is the one you charge your A/C with is located on the rear firewall about dead center 5approx 5 inches below the windshield. Make sure when charging you put your a/c on coldest setting and blower on high. Hope this helps God blessss
You can't not discharge freon into the air, against the law, you need a mechine to evacuate and vac the system, you can go to a garage and have them lok at the A/c system for around $50 includes 1 lb. freon, they will let you know what is wrong.
First
find the A/C compressor, it is attached directly to the engine and has a
pulley on it. When you turn on/off the A/C while the engine is running
you should be able to locate it by listening for it to engage.
When
you find it you need to trace the two metal pipes that come out of it.
One pipe is the high pressure side and one is the low. You will know
which one is the low side when you find the 'tee' with a plastic cap
(both high and low have one).
The fitting that comes with the
A/C recharge kit will only fit properly on the low pressure port.
Sometimes, but not always the low pressure port has a blue cap.
In the low side ac port.Follow ac lines until you find a part with a black cap, there are 2. The big one is the high side and the smaller one is the low side.
