Go to "Start", click it "Start Menu" will open. In the start menu click " Control Panel". The control Panel Window will open. Click "Windows update" Click "Turn on Updates". Windows will start to update automatically. Windows also allows you to modify setting according to your needs.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Laptop will come on but not boot

Without more info it's hard to say. But some possibilities:
1. Unplug power supply, remove battery, and put back in then plug in
2. Hard drive problem.
3. BIOS not set correctly
4. Data corruption

A little more info would help a lot. May need to ask someone to look in person.

I have an acer iconia tab a500 and just recently upgraded it to taboonay 3.2 but i am unable to read snid or code sn on my tablet and also having updating issues

Try updating again the latest should be 3.2.21. this last update seemed to fix a lot of things even thogh is was only a minor version change. If that does not do anything the you have two more options one is to wait till mid march for the ics os upgrade or to do a system restore. I suspect you ended up with a corrupt system file during the update or you are seeing worse problems than most. the 3.2.21 up grade showed up about two weeks ago so your unit should have upgraded to this if it could. If itcouldn't the

How i restore my loptop live new put not have a cd is hp vista

when you first power on the machine (assuming it's either a dv2000, dv6000, or dv9000, or hdx9000), hit F11 on the keyboard repeatedly until the recovery screen pops up. Click on advanced options, click system recovery, then click OK when prompted. the recovery process will begin and take about 25 minutes on a 5400rpm hard drive. then you must reinstall everything that isn't factory.

NOTE: THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA THAT ISN'T PREINSTALLED. AFTER THE RECOVERY, YOU MUST INSTALL THE INTERNET SOFTWARE, VIRUS SOFTWARE, ALL UPDATES (THERE'LL BE A LOT!!), AND PERSONAL SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE. BACK UP ALL DATA BEFORE YOU BEGIN. ONCE THE RECOVERY PROCESS STARTS, IT CANNOT BE STOPPED, OR THE SYSTEM WILL GET CORRUPTED. qqb002.gif

Hopefully this will help.

Trying to full system recovery, but showing error 15

  • error 15 = Exception was not allocated.
  • The registry is corrupted. The structure of one of the files containing registry data is corrupted, or the system's memory image of the file is corrupted, or the file could not be recovered because the alternate copy or log was absent or corrupted.

It will not power on. The name garmin is on the screen with a black background.what could the problem be?

A Garmin Nuvi 1300 that won't start, freezes on 'loading maps,' or is acting erratically is symptomatic of having corrupt firmware.

To correct this, I recommend backing up your favorites, clearing all user data, and if it still is stuck, then updating your Nuvi firmware.

Follow these three steps to take to get your Garmin Nuvi 1300 running like new:

  1. Back up your Favorites.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset.
  3. Download and then run Garmin WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

I hope that helps.
