Take out the two screws that hold the top console on,one on each side in the front.flip the console up,with a screw driver remove the two metal clips and disconnect the lid switch harness,now pull the frame towards you and up and remove the whole frame.what switch are you trying to change and what's wrong with the machine?

My roper washing machine will not empy out or spin. It agitates alright but stops when it comes to emptying the water and going into the spin cycle.

Lid switch replacement


Some washing machines have the bolts that hold the top down situated behind the front panel but you have to remove the panel to gain access.
There may be 3-4 screws at the bottom of the front panel, remove the screws and the panel should come out.
