Question about Nokia 6100
Well, possibly yes if the phone went into the water, or spilled water on it.
If you are saying that it is now blue screen, check first if it still emit sound, try pressing buttons and hear out sound coming from it(keypad tones etc), or try calling or texting the phone, if the phone rings or can be contacted or recieves messages, or you can even call using it, the damaged part is the LCD, have it replaced.
If the results are the other way around, possible that it may need re-programming or aso possible is a hardware fault, again have it checked by a technician.
Dont try to push the LCD in an attempt to fix it, it may cause more damaged than anything good, the LCD might crack, or even worse puncture or tamper the connection points of the LCD to the board, might get it grounded of some sort.
The best solution is have it checked by a technician. Dont try to open the phone by your self, because, again, the LCD connector of that particular phone is just a snap on with a thin connector board, wrong procedure in taking the lcd out could cause the connection on the board to go with the lcd connector, rendering it somewhat useless phone, because it is quite difficult to reattach the connector to a tampered board.
this is what will happen if you remove the lcd wrong
note the two pieces on top of the lcd, those are the connector of the lCD, and the connector that is connected to the board, it is now tampered.
