How do i download a folder file from my pc to my cell phone sph-800.

That file has to be in the same folder as your other ringtones are for it to be accessed. Get it in there and it will work.

You can download games that compatible with Samsung SGH-G800 to your pc and then transfer the game files to your phone using the usb data cable.Follow the instructions to do so,

1) First thing you need to do is to find the games from internet and download them to your pc,you can type "download samsung SGH 800 games" in google to find games that's compatible with your phone model (only those games compatible with your phone model would work)

2) To get you started,here are few sites where you can download games for your phone model

The quickest way to do this is to put your phone into Mass Storage Mode then connect it via the USB cable to your computer.To set your phone to Mass Storage Mode, do the following:

- Go to the main menu
- Select Settings
- Then Select Phone Settings
- Choose PC Connections from the menu
- And then click on Mass Storage.

3) Now connect the phone to your pc.Now your phone will show up as a USB Storage device and you can just copy and past files to it like you would a USB Thumb drive.

4) Now you need to copy the downloaded jar and jad files from your computer and paste them on the folder named "other" from the new mass storage device (that is the phone) found on your 'My Computers' folder.

5) After copying the files,you can now disconnect your usb cable and now using your phone,browse to the 'other' folder and you should find the name of the game file you just copied form your pc.Open it using the ok or similar key on your phone and it will prompt you to install the game,follow the onscreen instruction to complete the installation.

6) Now you should find the installed game on your games folder in your phone.Feel free to ask any

Question...do you have a cable for your pone or a blue tooth device?if you do have any of the two,good.
but if you don't,please try and get one.

If cable,...first plug in the cable to your phone and plug the other end to your PC.

If your have an installation CD better, just install and you will see guide line to it.

Without the CD.....After connecting both sides,on your PC it will show you where you can access your files from.you can then transfer what ever pics you want to download...
In some cases, it might not work without your installation CD.but you can still download the installation CD on the net.......

I have noticed that error occuring on other Samsung device. Make sure that you have a memory card in your phone that has a MUSIC folder located on it. You would have to store your music files on the card in that folder. It should recognize your files after that. If not, you could possible have an issue with memory card slot.

Drivers are not needed for XP or Vista. To Connect your phone to your pc, Plug it in, Cancel the connection wizard. On your phone go to tools, Mass Storage... and Connect to pc. Drivers will then be installed, and you have acess to the files on the memory card to transfer MP3's and pics

To transfer files using PC Studio, from a PC to the handset, follow the steps below:

1. These instructions assume you currently have PC Studio. If you do not, please check the Samsung Accessories site to purchase the software.
2. If the application is not yet installed, insert the CD into the drive on your PC and follow the on screen instructions to install PC Studio 3.0 (version 3.0.1)

3. Confirm the handset's USB mode is set to PC Studio by following the steps below:

8. Click on To Phone, on the Phone Explorer menu bar (See example above) to copy to the handset
9. From the Search Folder screen, Navigate to the desired destination on the handset
10. Click OK to copy the selected file to the handset's memory

PC Studio Checklist:

1. Make sure your USB or Serial cable is compatible with your phone model. You can always check for the correct data cable by looking at the model number on samsungmobile.com in your phone's accessories section.
2. If you are using a Bluetooth dongle or IrDA port as your connection, the necessary driver(s) should be provided with their data kit and should be correctly installed and set up prior to the installation of PC Studio.

Hints & Tips:

• Remember to select file formats and file sizes supported by the phone when uploading files to the phone from the PC.
• Remember to select the correct destination folder in the phone when uploading files to the phone from the PC (e.g. mp3/aac files-> music folder, jpeg/gif files-> downloaded images folder, 3gp/mpeg4 files-> downloaded videos folder...)

just use the microSD.
put it in your pc, copy the music to there and then just put it back in your phone.

I had the same problem. The store where I got my phone checked another phone off the shelf and it had the same problem, and so did another one. But they gave me a 512 mb card and it works. But I still want my 64 mb card working.
