Hi, how many terminals does this particular plug have that goes to the pump? If it only has 2 wires and the pump is AC rated (as it appears to be in your description) then it wont matter which way you connect it. However if you have another wire there (ie for earth / ground connection) it will matter.

Hotpoint WDD960 F13 code, water not pumping out.

hi if you wash small childrens clothes such as small socks they can get between the door seal and drum. they then get trapped in the rubber hose between the drum and pump which would create the problem you are describing.you would find this hose under the washer.

Hi could anyone help me please..My Hotpoint WMA52 keeps flooding

It is not draining properly, or overfilling due faulty pressure switch.
Try cleaning the filter first.
Remove lower rear cover of washer.
Remove large black hose onto bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction here and in the pump.
Hope this helps.
