Hi, 3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem. Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info. Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards. Thanks.

STKs will have part number on them ,example STK392-110 go by number printed on them if they are 110s upgrade to 180s Better ICs.Let me know if their is anything else that you may need help with.

Convergence amp ICs
These (there are probably two of them) are probably burned out, at least one of them. From what I see online in blogs and such, this repair can run several hundred dollars to have done professionally, but if you are qualified (or at least careful enough to learn how to do it SAFELY and CORRECTLY) you can do it youself for around $12 - $50, depending on what model part your set uses.

convergence ic's failed. probably took out some resistors and the pico fuse from what i am hearing from t.v techs. its like 50$ in parts if u can solder / desolder.
You dont need codes for the service menu you need to repair the convergence circuit. If the lines wont line up in the customer menu they wont line up in the service menu either. Do you know how to solder? If so we can fix this yourself with a little instruction. Otherwise you will need to call a repairman. A good repairman will run you $300-$500 depending on your area. Let me know what you want to do.
The convergence ICs need to be replaced. # blinks is the error code for the convergence. You will need two STK392-110 Convergence ICs you can get replacement ICs at the following link with free shipping and free instalation instructions with pictures. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
You need to replace the convergence ICs. they are located on a huge aluminum heatsink. You will need to replace both of them. Also check for open resistors right next to the ICs. If you need any more info let me know
