Maybe virus I think. Ctrl Alt. Del it to bring up windows task manager & select processes to see what is using all the cpu. Also have a look at the amount of free hard drive space.. If it is less that a Gigabyte, you might have spooling problems.

Are you talking about installing the Windows 7 operating system on an Acer Aspire 5351 laptop, or are you referring to something else. Forgive me, I'm not sure I understand your question. You can visit Acer's support centre here: Acer Worldwide Select your local country or region and type in your location. It will direct you to the right site.

Keep getting message message memory full how do i

the message is a virtual memory message.Too many programmes running at the same time usually.Adding more RAM if possible, closing programmes etc will help. You are probably using W8 which I have found opens programme after programme as you try to access different things,so you will have lots of apps working unseen using memory. This is not about the recycle bin.If you have an icon on the desktop right click on it and choose to empty it.

I did as above but that icon is not getting deleted

I can't understand what you meant to say. Whether you mean, your shortcut icon is deleted on the desktop or in the programme list.
As an example if your shortcut "programme" (like Microsoft word) icon is deleted than. Click on Start>Programme>Microsoft Office>In the Microsoft word "Right click" there you will see the pop down menu. In that menu click on "Send to"> choose Desktop (create shortcut)
Else open C:\ "drive">Programme Files>Microsoft office>Office12>find out winword.exe

All the Best!

Hi it say on my laptop 'this file doesnot have a programme associated with it for performing this action' can you help? its an archos 705 wifi

This means that WIndows or whatever OS you have does not know what mother prog to use to run this file. If you know what prog is used to run that file, then right click on the file name and select Open With. You get a dialogue box giving a number of progs that may be used to open that file. If you do not find the prog name in the list then go to browse and locate that prog and select and also mark the box to indicate that in future also you want this prog to open that and similar files.

Charging problem

You must leave it connected and after charging you will see a message that says charge is full, usually leave it all night, of course it won't take that long, but stop looking at it and let it go.

Acer Laptop problem

What must be happening is there are programmes and services running in the back ground and depending on how much memory you have installed all these things take up memory allocations. The graphics card when running just minimal programmes like word run at 8MB memory but when running games or dvd the card can run at 64MB of memory so take that off 256MB ogf memory if thats what you have fitted, minus the memory your programmes and services take it doesn't leave much. added with a processor speed of around 1.5GHZ it can make the system slow up if doing more than one thing at a time. Also check back to when this started and go to system restore and look to when it roughly started and see if windows did any updates, if so restore to before the update and see if it still happens.
