Water is leaking from the bottom of washer what can be the problem?

Could be too much detergent. Always had the problem until I was told by repairman only cover the bottom of dispenser with detergent. Don't use the lines they come with. Only need a small amount. A large bottle should last months. Hope this helps.

Detergent is leaking on the top of the washer after done. When the washer is done with the load, it has detergent all over the inside of the lid.

Could be a number of reasons - the most common reasons are the door is not full shut or is faulty or the water pressure is too high. Also can happen if the machine is on uneven ground. If this is the case you can on most new machines adjust the feet.

Water leaking out the bottom of door

You are using too much detergent. Make certain you use HE (high efficiency) detergent, and one of the service technicians suggests only using about one tablespoon of detergent per load.

Washer leaks small amount. DIY fix: check hoses and ???

Wires found in hose!
When we turned washer on it's side, we found the hose from the pump to the basket had been pierced by two stiff curved wires, still embedded in the hose. Water was leaking around the wires. Wires had come out of an underwire bra! Dealer had only heard of this once before; on his own washer!
MORAL: handwash your bras, ladies.... or pull those wires out each time.
