Question about Heating & Cooling
Ok your air vent door actuator is bad. Your Tahoe has two of the so make sure you replace the rite one. One contols the air flow in the front the other controls the flow of air in the back by redirecting air with flaps. What is happening in your truck is the front actuator is directing air through the cooling system while the back one is directing air through your heater core. This is little small radiator that air blows through in the winter and warms the air by doing this it keeps you warm. However yours isn't working and in turn it is keeping you warm in the summer.
The actuator is located under the plastic panel cover under the rear right window on the inside of your Tahoe.
You can them at auto salvage yards for about $48. If you go to the auto parts store you are looking at about $80 to $120
