Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
I went through Solution 1 and it worked for me. Thanks! Soldering was hard for a beginner. One note: Do not attempt to turn back plug socket with coin. Instead, try to push the plasticky little thing back that was moved by turning.

Remove shaver head (2 screws)
remove 2 screws at the bottom of unit.
with coin, turn plug socket.
now pull carefully cover.
you'll need a welder to replace the 1.2v nimh rechargeable battery.
