The problem of your TV concens the voltage there's a problem on the regulator IC you need to replace it...the voltage supply is not stable thats why the picture size of tv is big for the screen..try to replace the regulator you need to open the back cover of your TV the regulator IC is found on the power suppy section. The power supply section is where the power cord is connected.to identify the regulator,it is an IC which mounted with heatsink.replace it and check for open resistors near the regulator also a leak small capacitor near the IC.be very carefull when replacing the IC make sure you unplug it to your wall outlet..you can also bring your tv TO A QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONEL if you dont have skill in electronic repair..good luck and just post a comment if you have any other question..

There are some adjustments you may be able to make. Some of these models are factory set and cannot be adjusted. I do believe your may have adjustments on the back or in the menu settings. Here is the manual if you don't have one:

You will either need to program the tv itself into the remove and press tv, then settings or menu and search for screen adjustment. Or you can purchase an original replacement remove and uses that. Or remove the rear panel of the tv and see if you can find little adjustment knobs.
or if needed, download the service manual for free here at this site:

(just highlight, copy, and paste this think in your internet address bar under a new tab)

Hi without the original remote its just not possible to do as these all for one remotes only offer the basics, i know they have all these buttons on the control but it only offers the basic functions for tellys without the original remote you wont be able to adjust the screen size.

now getting the original remote could be a problem you could try the well known auction site or the other option you have is to go to your local tv repair shop and see if they have an old remote lying around from a damaged telly they usually keep the remotes in case people ever need one so you might be lucky and get on from their.

but without the original remote it would be impossible to get it to do what you want to do, i mean you could go through every button on the remote and see if by some slight chance one will alter the size but you would only be guessing by doing that, even in the user guide for that remote it wont tell you how to reduce the screen size.

so im sorry their is no easy or simple fix you could try all the buttons if you like just press each one once and see what happens but failing that your going to need to get a remote for that make of telly, it dont need to be the same model of telly as long as its the same make it will still work

let me know if you need further assistance ok

Where are fuses on Toshiba 32a14 TV won't turn on

The fuses are located on the inside of the set, remove the back cover and follow the power cord in, there should be a main ac fuse near the cord on the circuit board. Toshiba usually has a second fuse further up the power supply.

I have white horizontal lines about 2 inches at top of my tv

You have some bad grounds on the Vertical IC. In addition to this, in the immediate area of this Vertical IC, are a few bad capacitors. Look for this IC mounted on a large heatsink. It may have seven pins . I cannot remember for sure. I have not worked on this particular TV, so I cannot give you specific locations. But I assure the problem is in this area! If you have some electrical experience you can pull this board out. In this case only the caps need replaced and the IC resoldered. Good Luck and thank you for asking. I have a 32A14 Toshiba TV. At full screen, the

you have to take in affect on how old is the tv if you have had it a few years then the screen is going out and will only be a matter of time before it goes all the way out and you will be buying a new one if it not old and its one of the newer flat panels then its the signal that the tv is receiving if its hooked to a digital antena then you only get max of 720 from it on certain channels no matter if the channel or channels are showing hd with out a hd source your tv will not show better then that i have a 42 inch hd flat panel and use a antena and the best i get from my hd broadcast channels certain times will i get true hd like when the news is showing or when one of the series that was filmed in hd is on other then that i only get a 720 picture instead of a 1080 most commercals are not film in 1080 but in 720 max and i dont know why makes no since
