Question about Compaq Evo N610C Notebook
I must of had it for afew weeks without realising but soon as i switched the laptop on one day suddenly windows messenger started installing itself but it was already installed. i contacted microsoft and they went through the process of deleting messenger and files etc which worked but then it came back again and i lost my net connection but somehow i got it back by ringing my service provider then soon as i was back online i did a sytem restore but its still there. i have antivir and its frozen that in control panel along with windows messenger.. so ive installed avg 8 and that cant find anything. also ive installed windows defender that cant find it and ive also installed spybot and that found 5/6 at first and now it can only find- funwebproducts but that and maybe others keep coming back on them selfs.... PLEASE HELP!
I had the same problem after first encountering Avira's inability to update new signatures. I downloaded a new version from CNET avira_antivir_personal_en.exe and executed it on top of the existing program.
It started and asked whether to repair or remove. I went for repair, and it continued posting an error. That did not work.
I executed the download again and asked to remove, which it did most thoroughly.
Then executed the same file again and it allowed me install avira without problem and naturally the missing file ccplg.xml was there.

First of all update your current anti-viruse(dont put 2 anti-viruse in your pc) then disable system restore and download aadware(free version) from www.lavasoft.com(it is a spyware detector) and install it let the spy bot be there in your pc (you can put two anti-spyware) and then reboot in safe mode and do all the scaning.Post your findings

Hi, I'm a newcomer here. I had the same, small problem with an announcement about ccplg.xml, which couldn't be found. I've just called to my friend, an IT worker- and he advised me to download avira once again. I made it and in the window with the options: reapair, remove etc. i signed box beside REMOVE. Further, it has gone automatically. Now, I have a peaceful minds and no longer ccplg.xml. You may check yuor actions in the module START. When you activate it, write down in the Avira in a bar called Start Searching. Then you you couldn't be able to find any file connecting with Avira, especially in the Control Panel. Without rebooting...Good day!

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
