Question about Toshiba 27AF53 27" TV
Leave the tv unplugged for one hour. Withing a half hour, press and hold the power button for 10 full seconds. Then wait the other half hour and plug back in. This is what is called a hard reset.
The symptoms you describe are usually due to a faulty power inverter or power board.
