Well, generally the F1 key is for launching the help menu. The other keys have various functions depending upon your keyboard and the software you are working on.
CTRL+F4 generally closes the particular page or software you're on (like clicking the X button at the top right of your page) and the CTRL+F5 is for refresh.
This can vary depending on your keyboard, and I suggest you go through your keyboard manual for exact details.

Almost always used as the help key,
almost every program will open the help screen when this key is pressed.
Windows Key + F1 would open the Microsoft
Windows help and support center.
Open the Task Pane.
F2
In Windows commonly used to rename a
highlighted icon or file.
