Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I have SOUND BLASTER LIVE I recently upgraded to a Bose Companion 5 speaker sys. which uses a USB cable instead of an audio cable into the sound card. Installation calls for CONTROL PANEL - SOUNDS & AUDIO CHANGE to BOSE USB AUDIO when I did this my SB Recorder does not work. I can change to the tab to SB LIVE and it works but I dont have any sound to my Bose Speakers. I have to use headphones Is there a setting that can be programed to get both to work together Thanks Bill

Hi! Please check on the volume control on the bottom right side near the time. Try to activate muted volume controls. This may resolve the problem. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

I'm using a new mac pro 5.1 and this method works best for me. Turn off your computer unplug your bose companion 5 and the usb cable as well. Unplug keyboard usb plug it in the front of your tower, plug back your bose system and usb cable voila. From now on you'll never have problems ever again :D
