Try laying the hose out on the ground and stretching it out as straight as you can get it. Let if sit this way in the sun for several hours. You might have a warp in the hose material that is causing these tangles. Allowing it to sit stretched in the sun for several hours will help. Also, try readjusting your return lines. They could be interfering with the pool cleaners pattern and causing the cord to become tangled.

Remove heater hose from heater core on 2001 Saturn l200

Many times a heater hose is so tight that even after you have removed the hose clamp you can't get it lose. If you can't get a pair of pliers to lightly twist the hose you may have to make a longitudinal cut on the hose with a knife or exacto knife to loosen it and then replace the hose after you get if off.

How can I get the heater hose off the car so I can bypass the heater?

Twist it gently back and forth while pulling straight back on the hose. Work carefully to avoid breaking the copper fitting to the core that the hose goes over. Rubber hoses get stuck to metal fittings after time. Twist gently to break the hose free-once you can turn the hose at all, it is ready to come off.

Replace coupling to Kirby G4

Hi There,
I think what you are asking is how to fit a new hose machine end, (hard plastic bit that connects the hose to the kirby body) to the rest of the corrugated hose?.
If this is right it does vary with the really old models but for the G3 and newer which is everything up to about 20 years old it is the same and quite easy.
All you have to do is heat the end of the hose up with hot water - not boiling or you will shrink the hose and kind of twist the new end on. You will need to have removed the old one first which is the same just heat up and twist off.

Hi. I have a Dyson Animal DC28, purchased on June 28th of 2010. The wand is stuck in the hose and I cannot remove it to use it.

I think I figured this out. If the hose gets twisted too many times while being used, the pole has a hard time going in and out for removal. (Kind of like how old phone cords got all twisted up after use for a while) To get it out, lift the pole out as far as you can then tug on the hose pulling it down & out ways until you can work the pole all the way up to get it out. Once out, detach the hose from the wand and turn it a few time (I had to go counter clockwise) to un twist the hose a little. Seemed to fix this problem for me.

It runs warm all the time pass the halfway mark

you need to replace your thermostat. to do that you need to follow your radiator hose until you reach the thermostat housing, take the hose clamp off and remove the hose. there may be some corrosion so just twist the host back and forth a few times before removing it then remove the thermostat housing wich will be connected with 4 bolts. then remove the thermostat and replace it. good luck

The hose on the cleaner gets all twisted up?

Most of the time it is a simple problem that is caused by the way pool cleaners are stored. If you wrap the hose in a coil or around the cleaner when storing it, this is causing the problem. To solve the problem, lay the hose out straight and flat during a warm day. The sun should soften the hose enough to straighten it out. Also, check for obstructions during this time. If the problem continues, you might have too much damage and you might need to replace the entire hose.

Two hoses that are hard to disconnect. the last two thats holding it together. how to disconnect them on my 1998 chevy suburban

What two hoses?
1.Some sort of cooling system hose? Such as the two that go to the heater core? See how much slack you have in the hose, and cut the hose off, right after the outlet tube it attaches to. If there is enough slack you can remount the hose. Use finesse to remove the stuck piece of hose.

If the example IS the heater core, the heater core is made of brass, or aluminum, (<-Not likely), and you can easily damage it's hose outlet tubes. Careful cut along the side, and try to Not go deep enough, to scratch the outlet tube. Peel back one edge with your fingers, and grab it with a pair of pliers. Try to twist the hose. Again, use finesse. Do not twist so tight that you crimp the outlet tube! Work around the hose on the tube. Eventually you will get it broke loose, where you can twist it off of there.

2.Radiator hose? Same thing applies here as listed above. I HAVE used a flat tip screwdriver to get under the edge of the hose, then worked my way around the hose edge. This helps break it loose from the water pump, or radiator, to where you can twist the hose, and twist it off. Using a flat tip screwdriver in conjunction with a brass or aluminum radiator, is ->NOT SMART!
I used the finesse of a surgeon operating on a heart, took my time, and sweated bullets!

Replacing front calipers

It is usually easier to disconnect the flexible brake hoses where they join up to the solid ones first then you can remove them from the caliper end without getting them twisted.
