Shrc 2000, Yes, you too, will need to watch some video clips at YOUTUBE about replacing some capacitors on the internal SMPS dc supply board. Maybe you have swollen, bulging capacitors. If so, please state the brand name of the capacitors you find in that condition. How old is your unit?? Did it work perfectly last month? If not into removing rear cover of unit, then call a service technician who can troubleshoot "switch-mode-power-supplys. There is lots of info on "bad capacitors" on the web already. Just search "CapXon capacitors" and ee how many "hits" you get. 12fixlouie

My phillips 60 inch tv 60pl9200d/37 wont turn on the power button flashes blue

Look in the manual. (Page 4)

Turn the TV on From main supply: Ensure that the main supply is turned on. A blue indicator light on the front of the TV lights up. When the TV is turned on by the main supply, the blue indicator light will blink for 45 seconds. This is the lamp's start-up period. When the light goes off, press the POWER button on the remote control or power switch. Press POWER to turn on the TV.

I have a three way switch in a lamp, one red wire one black wire and one blue wire coming out off the switch, how do I wire off the switch?

Black is the AC power into the switch, and the others are the switched power leads out. Take a close look at the switch housing and you might see small markings reading L1 and L2 by the red and blue leads.

To wire the switch, use a pressure connector (wire nut) to connect the black lead to the incoming AC power. On a polarized line cord, where the plug has one prong wider than the other, the hot side is the narrow prong. The neutral side, which connects to the white wires from the lamp sockets, is the wide prong, and the cord usually has a ridge molded in.

The red and blue wires go to the sockets. (This kind of switch is usually used in three-socket lamps, so I assume that's what you have.) The red lead should connect to the black wire from one socket, and the blue lead to the black wires from the other two. The usual sequence is power off, L1 (red) on, L2 (blue) on, L1 and L2 on. So as you turn the switch (or press the button in a push switch) you get one light, then two, then all 3 on.

Make sure all your connections are good and tight with UL approved connectors and there are no exposed bare wires, and you should be good to go.
