Hi.

That happens when the detergent drawer is clogged with rest of detergent.

Try pouring hot water mixed with citric acid (white vinegar also works but is smelly), use a boiler/kettle if possible and take care not to hurt yourself with the hot water. Ensure that there is no load and eventually disconnect power.

If that does not fix the problem, then the machine must be disassembled to reach the detergent drawer outlet and unblock it.

That will usually fix the problem, if it does not, have a look at the pressure switch, that is likely causing an overfilling problem.

How do I remove the drawer in a fiisher and paykel 6031 dishwasher. I only have one drawer and it is leaking water. Want to check out if there is a leak behind. think it may also be the top seal. if so...

There are two tabs, one on each side that will release the drawer to slidr forward. I have enclosed a photo of the square tab on one side. press both sides in and pull the drawer toward you . There shouls be a wire bale on the rear that hods the water lines. If these are interfering with the seal that will be the cause of your leak.7_3_2012_2_56_28_am.jpg

hello
F1 means the flood sensor senses water at base of machine at PC board.
You need to take out bottom drawer and check for water puddle under where the drawer was.If there is water you can get the machine going again by comletely drying it out(F1WILL CLEAR),but it still means you have a leak. With bottom drawer out you can really see whats going on.Once F1 is clear you can actually run upper drawer and see if it leaks. Most likely culprit are the lid actuators.Replace all 4 . It'll run like new.Don't overload drawer .That can cause lid leak too. Also the PC board may be damaged and may start to go crazy giving fake F1 codes.$80 easy fix.
good luck

F1 code how to fix and re-set

Is this happening with both drawers or just one.

You have water leaking into the base of the dishwasher under the drawer.

Most likely the drawer seal is leaking.

The flood switch is located at the base of the dishwasher and this needs to be dried.

Turn power off and take the bottom drawer out. Dry base with towels and hair dryer. Turn power back on without putting the drawer back.

Run top drawer to see if any water is leaking.

Water leaks can be due to faulty seal or drain hoses cracked.

Hope you are able to fix it.

How do I adjust top drawer height? The seal around top drawer appears to be leaking and there is a lot of dried residue around the top edge of the drawer. Water appears to be leaking from the top.

Not sure if adjusting top drawer height will fix the leak. The only way to fix the drawer seal leak is to take the drawer out and check what is wrong with the seal which is located around the top edge of the cabinet from inside.

Hope this helps. Please rate this solution if helpful otherwise please post a comment

Our two drawer dishwasher model 603dd was working - it showed the "flood button" and then the power cut out and now there is no power to it. Its two years old. Id it worth fixing?? id there anything we can...

I am assuming one of the drawers has caused water to leak into the base of the dishwasher cabinet

Disconnect the mains power connection.

Extend the bottom drawer out as much as possible. Use towels and hair dryer to dry out the base - especially the flood switch that is located towards the back middle of the base.

Leave it open until the moisture disappears. Reconnect mains power and try to start one of the drawers.

The water can leak due to kink or crack in hoses or simply too much foam from detergent.

Hope this fixes the problem - hopefully nothing to replace.
