Question about Panasonic Palmcorder PV-DV203 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Thank you so much for that information. I tried the hair dryer thing but that did nothing. I have had the camera for over 3 years and was only able to use it for the first 4 months. Even after spending such a long period of time stored away, it still said that dew was detected.
All that I did was remove the bottom panel. I played a tape at that point and it worked fine. So if you are planning on disconnecting something, try powering up the camera before you get to that point. It may save you time and possible damage (especially if you lack electronic knowledge like me).
Good luck to anyone who is experiencing the same problems and I hope that this thread helps you as much as it did for me.

I took my old PV-DV203D out of the closet after 3 years, the "dew detected" issue remained. I tried your solution of removing the lower cover and disconnected the small blue circuit ribbon in the middle and re-inserted. The issue is gone. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have the same experience of this "dew detected" problem, try to remove the lower cover (the one where we connect the tripod screws) then look for any loose flat printed circuit pattern, or better disconnect then re insert again.
this solved my problem, hope it can help you
