The drain valve might be clogged with dirt and results in non opening or partial opening. Use can take the valve out from the output hose fitttings and do a good cleaning , manually power and test the valve for functioning and reset. If however the power is not coming to the valve or is low then the timer program controller is faulty.

If the hose on my washing machine is to long and water has to travel up and down will that stop it from working if i pull washing machine out it works thankyou

Most washing machines have a drain pump behind the bottom front panel which is usually held on by small screws at the very bottom of the machine. Unplug it from the wall. Once the bottom panel is removed, there is a large cap that can be removed from the drain pump. When that is removed, you will usually find some debris in the pump that is slowing down the draining process. Look on YouTube and search, "Clean drain pump", for your particular machine.

My washing machine leaks alot of water from the drain trap while it is working or when it has just done a wash.

Thanks for the model number. The leakage is very likely from the drain hoses that are connected to the drain pump. For your model the drain pump is located at the bottom front behind the bottom plate. You will have to remove the screws holding the bottom front plate. Once you get this out you can access the drain pump and hoses. Either one of the two hoses (inlet from drum or outlet to laundry drain hose) could have burst or lost hose clamp. Need to fix this. Also check the laundry tub drains are clear and there is no back water into washing machine.

It sounds like your Drain pump has either become clogged, or has burned out.
  1. First, disconnect the power to the machine.
  2. The drain pump is located at the bottom of the machine. You will have to remove the panel to access the drain pump, or you can access the drain pump from the bottom of the machine after you have removed the water from inside the machine.
  3. The drain pump has 2 hoses connected to it, and a wiring harness.
  4. Disconnect the hoses and wiring harness and remove the drain pump.
  5. Check the impeller inside the drain pump for coins, socks, etc. and clean it out if you can. Make sure it turns with ease, and isn't worn out, or rocking back in forth. If it is worn out, replace the drain pump.
  6. If after clearing the drain pump and reassembling, and the machine still fails to drain, replace the drain pump.

Washer is flashing f2

F2 on a Whirlpool Duet means their is a problem with the Drain Pump or Drain Pump Filter. The Drain Pump and Filter are located at the bottom of the Washing machine. You must remove the front, bottom panel to gain access to the Drain Pump and Filter. Disconnect the Filter and Drain Hoses and clear them out. If they are clear, you may need to replace your Drain Pump.

Water gets drain cannot remain in the tub for wash ...type of my washing machine is LG WP 9031 top loading semi automatic..

The drain is pull the knob which will pull up the drain valve. So if this is not working then the connecting bowden is broken and is not connecting the link to the bottom drain valve.
Look at the bottom and connect. Clean the drain valve, if choked.

you have a blockage some where in the drain hose.most likely in the hose the comes form the bottom of the tub to the attach a wet dry shop vac to the end of the drain hose and remove the water this way while the vaccum is working look at the hose that comes form the tub to the pump and if it colapses then there is something restricting the water flow.also make sure to check in side the drain pump cover for any thing that is obstructing the pump

check the pipe the drain hose goes into. if this is blocked the water will overflow out of it. or there could be a split in your drain hose
