You may have a problem with the pump vane not properly spinning on the drain pump shaft.  If you take out the drain pump and spin the vane in either direction, you should feel a resistance every time you turn it.  If you able to turn the vane one way and do not feel the resistance for at least half a turn, you may need to replace the drain pump.

Keep getting f02 code and check all drain hoses and the pump for debris and the filter and still keeps getting the code and the pumps sounds like it is runnning or just humming

unplug the machine f02 is something is caught in your hose or your pump or your drain line F02" is a Long Drain error code. This is an indication that you may have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system somewhere. In most cases this means there is a clog in the drain pump or inlet line running from the wash tub to the pump. There is a white screw off cap on the drain pump that you can remove to inspect the pump impeller and clean. The following link explains

http://www.fixya.com/support/r615268-f02_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris and small articles of clothing can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: The "SUD" error code can often occur in conjunction with the "F02" error code. This is due to air being detected in the drainage system, which can occur if the pump is not running, or if you have an obstruction BEFORE the pump. You need to remove the inlet hose from the pump to ensure it is also not blocked. Correct your drainage system fault, and the SUD error should go away.
If you have any questions about this repair, or need additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced once again please message me back if you have any further questions and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again

Machine flashing F02

- Clean out the drain pump catchment.

- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any debris.

- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.

- If all else checks out, replace the pump

My machine is stuck on f21

Hello,

“F21” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

  1. First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2.
  2. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
  3. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
  4. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

F21" is a Long Drain error code which is usually an indication that you may have an obstruction somewhere in the drainage system. Most commonly, there is something lodged in the drain pump or inlet line running from the wash tub to the pump. There is a white screw off cap on the drain pump that you can remove to inspect the pump impeller and clean.

You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris and small articles of clothing such as socks or under garments can become lodged in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: A "SUD" error code can often occur in conjunction with the "F21" error code. This is due to air being detected in the drainage system, which can occur if the pump is not running, or if you have an obstruction BEFORE the pump. You need to remove the inlet hose from the pump to ensure it is also not blocked. Correct your drainage system fault, and the SUD error (if displayed) should go away.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

Take care.

Im getting an error F2. it is draining but very

Hello there:
Normally the f-2 code is trying to tell you that the extraction pump is starting to clog or already has done so.
So what you are going to have to do is to remove the drain hose from the machine and make sure that the hose is clear next you will haveto take off the back panel and the side panel to get to the pump and remove the hoses going to it and inspect them really good now you are going to have to inspect the pump itself if you can remove the pump than do so and take it to a gardenhose and flush it out really good than reassemble the parts back on the machine and then retry the machine and if the error code is still there than you can assume that the pump has suffered damage and should be replaced ok but if it pumps all of the water out now than just unplug the machine and leave it unplugged for 1 hour and plug back in adn this should claearthe fault code ok
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards Michael

Cannot get the door to unlock. The washer started displaying (F21) on the led panel. I looked up what the code mean and it said to check for kinks or other obstructions that would keep it from draining. It...

I don't know where you got your instructions from, but you do not have to remove the front panel on a Whirlpool Duet to access the drain pump. You just have to remove the toe panel directly below the door. If you are attempting to remove the bellow and door latch for this procedure, you're going about it the wrong way. The filter that is being referenced is in the drain pump. The following link explains how to access to clean:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r1484065-f21_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

You may have something getting caught in the pump impeller and slowing it down. Or, you may have something clogging the drain lines. Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: The "SUDS" error can also commonly occur with the F21 error code as this is can be generated when air is sensed in the drainage system.
If the door won't open it could be jammed due to the program being interrupted. There is a manual release you can use to retrieve anything left inside the drum. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r622155-kenmore_elite_whirlpool_duet_door_jammed

In most cases, simply resetting the door in this manner will restore normal operation.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Washer will not drain or spin motor making clicking noise

Likely has debris in the filter.
Open the bottom access panel (3 screw on bottom front lip)
open the filter access and be ready for some water spill ,have towels.
clean and check the pump impellers for freedom of movement.
if you still have noise after this you may have to go deeper past the pump and remove the hoses as the debris can be past the pump now.
Or take the machine outside and run water up the pump using a water hose to clear it. be inventive
