Bad Tone programmed for TX
Bad Freq for TX
If it Beep when trying to TX, Programmer forgot to program the TX Freq.
Otherwise, there might be a hardware issue. Check Power at the output with a Power/SWR meter. A TK-7160 should output ~25W. A TK-7160H output 40W.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The software is only availible from Kenwood. the only way to get it is to purchase the registration key from them for that software. Sorry, I program radios everyday and even the company I work for has to purchase the Registration keys.
