Question about Rinnai RHFE-1004FA 38,400 BTU Energy Saver Ductless Heater - Natural Gas
Firstly here is alink to a manual. Check out page 28.
Basically as it says you need to hold down the temperature up and and temperature down button for approx. 2 seconds. The confusion normally comes if the unit is turned OFF whilst the lock in enabled. If you try and turn the unit back ON the lock is still enabled and it will stop you doing this. To operate from this point you need to first make sure there is electrical power to the heater. BEFORE you turn it on via the ON/OFF button, deactivate the lock as above. I've posted this solution a few times and I would love some feedback to see if i am explaining it well enough. Thanks.
