Dryer with no heat?

Heating element in my heater is not heating up. Have looked for loose connection, cannot find one? IS there a fuse somewhere or could teh element itself be broken as the dryer is quite old?

Does the dryer turn on and the drum spin? Most dryers have a thermal cut-out and/or thermal fuse that goes bad and causes the no heat problem. This still not rule out the possiblity of a bad heating element, though. Please your brand and model number. It would help in properly diagnosing the problem.

I have a Kenmore front load gas dryer that dries on normal setting but not on delicates and permanent press anymore, does that mean it is going? It is about 7 years old.
