Question about Vacuums
I got this vac from a cousin who has since moved OS, so I don't have the manual...I"ve opened up the vac to put in a new bag and now I can't close it??
SOURCE: Nilfisk Sprint Plus - machine
Hi, sounds as though you have a clogged hose somewhere which in turn makes the motor get hot.
Try running a wire up through there and see if there may be a piece of something stuck crosswise, that happened to my vacuum.. I would recommend running a broom handle through the hoses if you're going to search for clogs in the line. A wire hanger could rip the hose.

Press the middle rectangular Nilfisk button in the top centre of the machine. The front cover will fold down. There is a greay retaining bracket which clips forward off the top of the old bag. Fold that forward, replace the bag, clip the holder back on, and then close the lid.
