Ok i have looked into the Issue you are having and concluded that the most likely solution is to reset the device, to do so follow these steps:
1: Place the device on a flat, level surface 2: Toggle the Lock/Hold switch to the LOCK position, then place it in the UNLOCK position 3: Finally, press and hold both the Play/Pause and the Menu buttons AT THE SAME TIME until the Apple logo appears onscreen
