We have not heard of FB requiring a security code. If you have received an email that appears to be from FB, it could be a scam. If you have attempted to access your FB page and are not able to, then you must email the FB team and describe your issue. Remember, never click on a link in an email you are unsure of. We wish you well and good luck:)

According to the third article of the Safety section in Facebook's Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, willfully compromising a user's account on the social networking constitutes a violation of Facebook's user agreement.

Reporting such violations may be performed in a number of ways, depending on the situation. If either you or your friend's Facebook account has been hacked, file a report through Facebook's Help Center.

If you are aware of a specific user on Facebook who is engaged in hacking other accounts, file a report regarding his activity through his profile page.

Go to Facebook.com, type the email and password associated with your account in the corresponding text fields and press "Enter."

Click "Account" in the top menu bar and select "Help Center."

Click "Security" in the "Popular Topics" section.
Click "I Think My Account is Compromised" in the Account Security menu.
Click either of the two security questions, depending on your situation, and click "Secure it here."
Click "Secure Account" and click "Continue."
Complete each of the steps for securing your account, including changing your password, changing your email password, reviewing your changes and unlocking your account.

Click "Done" to complete the process.

The developers at Facebook receive a notification regarding your account being compromised. Report Your Friend's Compromised Profile

Sign into Facebook, click "Account" in the top menu bar and select "Help Center."
Click the "Security" icon in the "Popular Topics" section.
Click "I Think My Friend's Account is Compromised" in the Account Security menu.
Click any of the three questions depending on your circumstances and click "File a Report."
Click your friend's full name, his birthday, the email associated with his account and a description of the situation in the corresponding text fields.
Click "Submit" to send the report to the developers at Facebook.
Report a Profile on Facebook

Log into Facebook, click the "Search" text field and type the name of the profile you want to report for hacking.
Scroll down and click "Report/Block This Person" in the left side bar.
Click "Unfriend" or "Block" depending on the situation and click "This Person is Bullying or Harassing Me," click the drop-down menu and select "Other."

Facebook does not offer an option in this drop-down menu that applies specifically to hacking, but selecting this option is the best fit for that form of violation.
Click the user's name at the top of the page, type a report regarding the account hacking in the text field and press "Enter."

The report is sent to the Facebook developers.

My face book page has been changed i want my old one back

If you recently deactivated your account then it is normal that these problem occurs after activation so wait for few days or contact Facebook help center for this issue through a form.
if this not the case then it might be possible that your account has been hacked by someone and that person deleted you profile picture and removed your friends from your friend list.

Try this:

Try changing your email address linked to your face book account. go to face book, then to account, then to account settings change email to a new email address. facebook will then send you a confirmation email to your new email address inbox , follow link to confirm . now go back to face book and go back to account , account settings and change the email to the new email address ...dont forget to remove the old (hacked ) email address at this point. Always worked for us.
Hope it works for you as well.

Locked out of Facebook done it all and still THEY WONT LET ME IN

It's easy to get hacked on Facebook and lose access to your account. And getting it back can be a help-desk headache for some users.
All too often, users click links indiscriminately. They add friends they don't really know. They sign up for applications without knowing what they do. And most people use the same password for every website -- a dream come true for malicious users looking to steal your information.
To protect us, the mechanical bouncers in Facebook's system scan the site for unusual activity, and will suspend your account if they think your profile was breached by a malicious user. But the process to get it working again doesn't always go smoothly.

To protect us, the mechanical bouncers in Facebook's system scan the site for unusual activity, and will suspend your account if they think your profile was breached by a malicious user. But the process to get it working again doesn't always go smoothly.
For example, the system can suspend the account if it sees you're logging in from another country or from a device you don't typically use. As a security precaution, a user then has to verify their identity.
In most cases, it's an easy fix. Just type in a code that is texted to your phone or verify your birthday, and then change the password. But if there's a technical glitch within Facebook, some users can be blocked for months without being able to find help in fixing the problem. To make matters more frustrating, there's no way to reach a human by phone on Facebook.
Don Silver hasn't had access to his Facebook page for more than a month. He has two options to reactivate his account: get a special code texted to the phone number he registered with Facebook, or recognize five randomly chosen pictures from his Facebook friends.
The phone route didn't work. He hasn't received a text message code after repeated tries. And as the chief operating officer of public relations firm Boardroom Communications, he has Facebook friends he's met only once -- making it difficult to recognize some people.
``I have no idea who the guy is,'' Silver said as he looked at the first photo in Facebook's test. ``He's hugging a beautiful girl, but she's covering half his face.''
He sent repeated messages to Facebook's help team, but was told each time that they don't see a problem with his account.
And there's Marjorie Swensson of Kendall, who also hasn't been able to access Facebook in more than a month. She said the security verification asked for her birth date. Problem is, the Facebook website says her birth date is wrong. She's sent numerous messages to Facebook's help account, but has yet to get a response.
When told of Silver and Swensson's problems, Facebook responded with a general statement, saying it is ``constantly working to improve these systems to make the experience of confirming an identity and regaining access to an account as painless as possible.''
If you find yourself locked out of Facebook because of a technical glitch, enter a detailed message of the problem at facebook.com/help/?page=1024 and follow the appropriate link.
If you don't hear back, keep trying. I've seen numerous reports online of people getting their problem fixed after several months -- but they never got a notification message.
Facebook clearly has a serious customer-service issue. Having users go weeks without answers is unacceptable.
Let this be a reminder that although we depend heavily on Facebook for communication, it can be gone in a flash, like all other things in our digital lives.
But to avoid getting caught in a similar mess, practice safe surfing to avoid accidentally compromising your account. Use a different password for all sites, don't click on unknown applications, and don't click on links from odd-sounding messages.
