Font.f1 {font: 12.0px Times} Thank you for contacting Fixya Support.

• If you cannot remember your pass code, you will unfortunately have to restore your iPod Touch which will wipe everything off the iPod Touch and restore it back to factory settings.

The only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages mail and so on.

One more possibility: if you were able to recently sync your iPod with iTunes before you forgot your passcode, when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue), back onto your iPod.

• This is the process which will allow you to regain access to your iPod Touch.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Dont worry this happens to everyone but here is the steps to fix this

  • Connect your IPOD Touch to iTunes (the main computer your iPod touch recognizes as its itunes dock)
  • Press or Hold the power and home keys 10 seconds.
  • Screen goes black, now release the power button
  • Make sure you do not release the Home key until your iTunes says "We have detected an itouch in recovery mode."
  • After this its simple all you got to do is a simple restore using your iTunes
and there you go if you need to figure out how to do a restore in itunes follow the link that is highlighted and if you need further assistance i will be glad to help you. If this solved your problem please feel free to rate the solution.
Thanks and have a great day- Midwest-tek

Don't remember password for ipad

You don't need to know your password for the iPad. As long as you know the password for your iTunes account, you used to setup the account on the iPad for. Connect the iPad with the computer and open iTunes and give in the password for the iTunes account. Apple will unlock the iPad and you can setup a new pass code for the iPad.
When you forgot your iTunes password, you have to contact Apple and prove you are the legal owner of the account.

Forgot the 4digit code

there are no "master keys". depending on if it is the hardware password or windows password, the procedure will be different. If it is the hardware, the laptop has to be opened up and the CMOS forced into a reset to clear any password. If it is the windows password you may be able to recover it via OUTLOOK but if you didn't follow proper setup procedures that wont help. You MAY be stuck with reformatting the drive externally ( using an adaptor on it so that it can be connected to another computer via usb) and then reinstall your OS via the recovery media you SHOULD have made when you first set up the lap top. and if you never made the recovery media, you PROBABLY will have to BUY the version of Windows you had on the computer AGAIN. However, you may be able to find a local computer savvy college student that can break into your computer for you PROVIDING you can prove LAWFUL OWNERSHIP of it... Bottom line is the mfgs do not make master keys to PREVENT the escalation of computer theft!

MY IPOD IS DISABLED BECAUSE I FORGOT THE PASSWORD AND IT SAYS IPOD DISABLED CONNECT TO ITUNES WHEN I CONECT TO ITUNES IT SAYS ENTER PASSWORD HOW CAN I ENTER THE PASSWORD IF I FORGOT IT!!! I NEED HELP:(

Step 1: Turn on your computer, and connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cable that came with your iPod.

Step 2: Open up iTunes on your computer.

Step 3: In iTunes, go to the left side of your screen and scroll down, when you see your iPod, select it.

Step 4: You should now see on the right side of your screen some general iPod information. Scroll down to until you see a "Restore" button. This will erase everything that was on the iPod, and sync whatever is in your iTunes library. It is the only known way.

Note: If this was helpful please vote for this solution!
