Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I dropped my PSP on the ground and when I turn it on nothing happeneds. The screen stays blank and no sound comes from it. The power light is on, but nobody is home. (lol...) When I go to switch it off it doesn't shut off and I have to take a battery out to shut it down. Should I get it fixed or send it to Sony to have it fixed or replaced? The warranty is still good but I don't know if it is void. HELPPPP!
Well if that`s true that if a handheld is broken when dropped then I shouldn`t have any working handhelds. Well, if you still have the companies number you should call Sony and ask them.
ps, tell them it was your friends.

If the PSP gets dropped and nothing works but the light saying its on. You have jarred plenty of stuff loose. I work on PSP systems all the time. I have to have everything put togther tightly to get it to work porperly.
If you can afford a repair, from $30 to $85, contact me at Repairtech@Playstationclinic.com. In the mean time, REMOVE THE BATTERY. You could be destroying the motherboard. That a $50 part. If you live outside the United States shipping charges will raise the cost. The $30 to $85 includes Return shipping to the USA. If your Repair estimate exceeds $115 including shipping, it is considered totaled. BAsically cheaper to buy a used one on Ebay than fix the one you have.
