I can see video I shot on my camera but when I connect to my Apple computer via iMovie, I can't see some of the video and thus prompt to import it. I can see some but not all.

If it\'s like all my camera stuff - download it and then watch it. The camera probably doesn\'t have the memory and speed to fully display a large video file (Like HD size) in line.

Hughes net error ox80040154

Here something you might want to try, first open an elevated command prompt:

Click Start , click All Programs , click Accessories , right-click Command Prompt , and then click Run as administrator .

Type the following in the command prompt:

netsh advfirewall reset

Once the firewall reset is done, it should say OK.

Next type:

netsh interface ip delete arpcache

Let me know if those commands help, if not there are further steps we can take.

Cannot play games (example big fish games) after being downloaded to my pc. I get this message d3derr_notavailable

Your graphics card most likely doesn't support Direct 3D. You can test using the following command in a cmd prompt window dxdiag

In XP click start/run and type cmd in the run box to open a command prompt window.

In Vista/Win7 to open the command prompt, either go through the start menu - click start, All Programs, Accessories, then click on Command Prompt or in the run box type: cmd .

Attempt to scan, screen states

This error occurs because the HP scanner can not communicate with your computer and thus won't scan. In most cases this is simply because you don't have all of the necessary drivers installed.
  1. Insert the software CD into your CD ROM drive. The software installer should automatically start
  2. Install the software and restart your computer when prompted
  3. Try to Scan using the Scan To or Start Scan buttons on your printer

Monitor does not come on, but system loads, thus I need to fix the monitor issue with the dos prompt, if possible, any answers

Sorry can't fix monitors with Dos prompts these days. Try another monitor that you know works. Make sure both plugs from the monitor are plugged into 1) wall / 2) video card on computer.
If still no monitor try a new video card.
