Recipient's name not shown in sent emails in gmail?

In the list view of sent emails. hover your mouse on the recipient to see the detail.

When you open an email in the sent messages, you can click on the little arrow drip down next to "to:" in the message to see the recipient names.

If you have never communicated with the person before (they are not in your contact list) the only thing you will see is the email address, not the name.

Tip

Track an email in Gmail

An email can easily be traced by opening its header but this technique fails when an email is to be traced sent from gmail account as gmail hide's the sender i.p. using a 64 bit encryption.
so to trace the location of a person, we can use readnotify free service.

Read Notify

What is ReadNotify?
ReadNotify is the most powerful and reliable email tracking service that exists today. In short - ReadNotify tells you when email you sent gets read / re-opened / forwarded and so much more.

Make an account at readnotify.com and compose a mail to the person you want to trace from the email id you used to create account at readnotify.com
Simply add: .readnotify.com to the end of your recipients email address
eg:
if the email to be traced is
vikash@gmail.com then use the email
vikash@gmail.com.readnotify.com in recipient's email
and then send the email as a normal mail.
the moment the receiver opens that mail, you will get all the information listed below by logging into your account at readnotify.com

Information you can get with the help of read notify-

  • Date and time opened

  • Location of recipient (per their ISP city /town)

  • Map of location (available on paid subscriptions)

  • Recipients IP address

  • Apparent email address of opening (if available)

  • Referrer details (ie; if accessed via web mail etc)

  • URL clicks

  • How long the email was read for

  • How many times your email was opened

  • If your email was forwarded, or opened on a different computer

Gentlemen,is there any way to recover the names of the people you sent a cco e-mail to after you have sent it?

Yes, go to the Sent Items folder and look for the email. Open it and Cc recipients will be shown. If you want to see Bcc recipients, you have to look at the header properties, CTRL+F2.

    Gmail email login

The error may have come from one of your recipients. Your group email may have BEEN sent to everyone else in the group, just not that one recipient, who hasn't retrieved their email since October last year.

Has anyone in the group died? Moved to a different email provider?

How do I unsend aol email through firefox ?

Go to the Sent folder in AIM Mail or AOL Mail.
Make sure the box in front of the message you want to unsend is checked.
    • You can also check multiple messages to take them all back at once,
    Click the Unsend button.
    Click Unsend again.

Note that you can (effectively) unsend an email only if:

The message was sent to AOL recipients only.
You cannot take back an email if it also has been delivered to internet recipients, not even from AOL recipients.
You sent the message from AOL itself, not from an email client using IMAP and SMTP to access an AOL email account.
The message has not yet been read by any recipient.

How do I send group emails keeping everyones details private?

Compose a new mail. Just type all the email addresses, separated by comma, in the BCC box of the email. A BCC (blind carbon copy; also Bcc) is a copy of an email message sent to a recipient whose email address does not appear in the message. The emails will be delivered to all recipients keeping the details of every other recipients as private.

    Hope it helps! Good Luck!

I need to retrieve an email deleted from trash file and retrieve it from the unintended recipient before it is opened I really need to fix fast thankyou

You may be able to recover the rmail IF you sent it from your own pc using a local email program. Read this for guidence. http://www.tech-pro.net/how-to-recover-deleted-emails.html

IF you used an online internet email program, like Hotmail or Gmail or any similar, then forget it..
It does not exist where you can reach it to recover.

As for the email sent out.. There is NO WAY to stop it now. It is already delivered to the recipient's email server, which will deliver it to recipient when they sign in.

    Sorry to deliver bad news..

    Email not received by recipients

It is possible that the mail you sent just simply has not arrived to its location just yet. It is also possible that your email could have been filtered, or thrown in the spam folder for whatever reason.

Most of the time, if Outlook says it was sent, then it was more than likely sent, as it watches the connections to the servers... Now we just have to find it.

If you can, have the intended recipient of your email check the spam/junk mail folder. Also, if you are connecting to a webmail server such as Gmail through outlook, and you are (for example) sending your email to someone that is using Yahoo mail... Sometimes it may take a moment to go through all the way, though it should not take TOO long.

I hope that this has helped to solve your problem, good luck!

Send attachments to some mail recipients but not others

    I think not.

First send email to everyone with everything everyone needs to know, then another to the ones who need files. OR emails to people who dont need attachments and spesific emails to those who need attachments.
