Make sure you are in the correct input. Did the installer connect the cable box to the television in two places? If so you'll want to choose the correct input of the two. Also make sure your cable box is set to the correct resolution for your television set i.e. if you have a 720p set it to 720p not 1080i and vice versa. Look for an hd zoom# button or format button or aspect button on your cable or satellite remote to adjust the picture size. If it is not on the remote the picture adjustment setting is in the menu/setup of your cable box or satellite box.

The image display on my Westinghouse 42" LED TV does not fit the screen. It is zoomed in, so when watching sports, i cannot see the score and time ticker.

Using the remote go to the menu for the TV. Look for picture or aspect ratio. Make sure it is set to 16:9 and not zoom or auto. That should clear the problem up.

LG TV MODEL 442L0520 SERIAL 005RMKUA3341 PICTURE IS TOO BIG FOR THE SCREEN,K TOP AND SIDES CUT OFF. WHEN WATCHING SPORTING EVENTS, SCORES CANNOT BE SEEN.

You need to go into the TV menu and change the settings for the display! Press the Menu button and adjust the Picture! It's probably set to automatic and not reading them correctly.

The picture is too big for the screen. i can't see the score when watching sport

Need a bit more information really. What you have a either a mismatch with the output of the receiver to the HD input - for instance receiver set to 4:3 TV set to 16:9. Or you may have the TV set to Movie Zoom or simllar.

Check the set up of your receiver is set to 16:9 then check that your TV picture format is also set to 16:9

Sansui - BOTTOM OF SCREEN CUT OFF

Your problem is not a vertical alighnment or size adjustment. No, Im sorry to say its the old vertical output IC and /or the small capacitors around the ic and in the vertical circuit. If you dont have the right tools, like a soldering iron a multimeter know how to read a schematic diagram, then you should seek out a repair person to assist you in this repair.
