Alot of sets turn solid blue when the signal is lost . check your antenna or cable inputs might be chewed up by pets mostly.
try feeding in a dvd player, or VCR signal and see if that plays on channel 3 or 4 ... if not you might need a new tuner.

The clicking you hear is probably caused by a relay that controls the incoming AC to the main power supply. This is a protective reaction to a problem in the power supply itself or an overload due to a failure downstream from the supply. This is not a likely DIY repair. You will probably need a technician to determine which of these two likely problems it is.

That usually indicates a capacitor going out in the power section or flyback section of the board inside. Depending on your repair shop this can be a fairly cheap repair (or not). Get an estimate and know what a replacement tv is worth. Sometimes its cheaper to get a new one than repair the older tv. As well power problems can stress other parts so it might get fixed only to fail later.

Clicking on the power supply board(no picture or sound)

If you hear a buzzing, humming or rapid clicking noises this could be a problem with your ballast.Might be a good idea though to pull out your lamp just ensure its not damaged. You can find these at discount-merchant.com

If you have no video and its making a popping noise its mostlikely shorted convergence circuits. Contact www.TvRepairKits.com and ask them to make you a kit for chirping sets.

Your power transformer is likely shot. It'll cost at least $200 to have it replaced. Someone can come to your house to diagnose it. Usually costs around $65.

Sounds like you lost the High Voltage. The beating sound is the power supply trying to start up. After a predetermined time it will quit to protect the set. This is a very common problem and typically not that much to repair. If you are not an electronics repair technician you should find a reputable repair shop and enlist their services. I would not think the cost should exceed $150.00 to repair. Good luck.

High pitched noise

There is a singing coil in the power supply. This set uses whats called a Switch Mode Power Supply(SMPS) and as the picture changes, so does the amount of current the TV draws. Thats why the sound changes with the picture. This could be an indication that a part is going to fail soon or it is just a loose coil winding or a transformer winding. You should have the set checked out by a pro to be sure. Good Luck
