Raytheon Palm IR 250D Problem:

I bought a used Palm IR-250D and when I put in the new battery the camera turns on but I can not see anything through the lens. The eye piece is missing and there is just the white cap on the arm. I can hear that the camera is coming ON but does not have picture. Any Ideas???
