INTEX POOL CLEANING

YOU CAN USE A 30 GALLON CLEAN PLASTIC DRUM TO VACUUM OUT YOUR POOL BY GOING IN ONE SIDE WITH YOUR OUTLET HOSE CONNECTION WITH A 6 ' PIPE INSIDE THE DRUM, AND BY USING A PIPE 4 INCHES OFF THE BOTTOM ON THE DISCHARGE SIDE GOING INTO THE PUMP. COVER THE BOTTOM OF THE DISCHARGE (THE LONG PIPE) WITH A PIECE OF PANTYHHOSE CLAMPED ON THE END AND THE TRASH FROM THE POOL WILL STAY IN THE DRUM INSTEAD OF GOING INTO THE FILTER. AFTER VACCUMING OUT DISCONNECT THE DRUM, AND REHOOK YOUR HOSES AS NORMAL TO THE PUMP. CLEAN THE DEBRIS FROM THE DRUM AND YOU'LL BE READY FOR THE NEXT TIME. JUST FILL THE DRUM BEFORE YOU START WITH POOL WATER,IF YOU DO THIS YOU WON'T LOSE ANY WATER. OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE THE CONNECTIONS TO ADAPT TO YOUR HOSES. BLEED THE AIR OT YOUR PUMP AND YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT HOW MANY FILTERS YOU SAVE FROM THE TRASH FROM VACUUMING STRAIGHT INTO THE FILTER.

When i push the button to start dryer I can hear a buzzing sound, but drum will not turn. I have already tried replacing the belt.

Check to see if your motor is running without the belt...if it is not, then replace the motor.
If it does run....rehook back up the belt and then try turning the drum by had to see if it will spin on its own...if it does...replace the motor.

MY DRYER Frigidaire Model Number LEQ2152ESO RUNS BUT THERE IS NO HEAT. THERE IS SOME ARCHING WHERE THE ELEMENTS ARE WHEN WE FIRST START DRYER

Sounds like your heating element has broken. Unplug from electricity. On the front of the dryer there are two clips that hold the top of the dryer to the front they can be tripped by inserting a flat blade screwdriver between the top and front panel apx 2 inches in from the side in the seam where the top and front come together. These clips are sprung steel and you have to push hard. (I usually give the screwdriver a sharp rap with a hammer) When you trip them you can lift the top up and backwards. Then about 12 inches down the inside front you will see a 5/16 nut that holds the front to the sides take them out. Then you can pull forward and lift the front off the machine. You will need to remove the belt you can look under the drum the belt goes thru two pullys one is a tensioner pop the belt off the tensioner and pay attention how the tensioner looks it may fall down and you will have to rehook it to put the belt back. I believe this model also has an access door at the tensioner and motor that gives closer access to the belt. Then you just lift the drum up and out of the dryer pull forward slightly before lifting up. The heating element will be exsposed in the back and the wire that was arching will be here. Remove the wires to the element and the mounting screws on the element pan. Unhook the Hi limit sensor on the pan and put it on the new one. Reinstall the element ect in reverse. The only problems you may run into is where the wires hook to the element can be hard to remove and unhooking the belt pay close attention to the tensioner and how the belt is attached to the tensioner and motor. This should only take you about 40 minutes to complete. I hope this helps

Maytag Dryer drum not turning properly after cleaning

Make sure the drum belt is positioned properly. You may have disturbed it when you removed the front door panel. It should be a tight fit on the drum. You should see the wear pattern on the drum where the belt was. Check the condition of the belt and make sure it's not cracked or stretched and slipping. Did you disconnect any wires when you opened it? Double check that you didn't rehook the wires wrong and make sure the door sensor switch is in proper position. Hope that helps.

How to replace an alternator in honda passport 1994

Unplug the connector on the back of the alternator, remove the bolts holding alternator to the mounting bracket.
replace the alternator, start in the bolts, and set the belt on. now use a small pry bar, to hold pressure against the alternator to tighten the belt. while holding belt tight, tighten down the mounting bolts. rehook connector on rear of alternator. if you feel safer, unhook the battery + terminal before you start the replacement.

I have a kenmore 27 inch electric dryer that when you push the start button it sounds like it starts but the drum doesn't turn. What could this be?

A clear indication that your dryer belt is broken is when the dryer drive motor runs but the drum does not rotate. A new belt is relatively inexpensive from several online or a local parts vendor, but installing it can be a bit frustrating since the dryer drum usually needs to be remove to install a replacement belt. Access to the interior of the dryer is usually necessary. For Maytag (and some Kenmore) models, the front of the dryer can be easily removed (two screws below front contour) by pulling out on the bottom of the panel and rotating up to release the top clips. Once off, place to the side, then remove four machine screws from the front drum/lint filter assembly, then remove by pullling out. Once off, place aside. Remove drum by lifting up and pulling out on drum (since the belt is broken it will not provide any resistance). Once removed, inspect the motor pulley arrangement noting the belt routing path around the motor pulley, belt tensioner, and the drum. Inspect the drum for belt wear marks, noting approximate location on drum where belt rides. Install replacement belt by routing through pulley arrangement (ridged side of belt rides againt motor pulley), then "hang" the belt on the interior backside to enable reaching the belt after reinstalling the drum. After placing the drum edge on the rear rollers, lift the front of the drum up into position, working the belt around the drum into the drum groove. Once the belt is in the groove, the drum should stay in position without lifting from the front. Check for proper pulley routing, taking care to avoid routing the belt OVER the tensioner belt keeper, i.e., route the the belt under the belt keeper to avoid belt riding on the keeper and failing prematurely. Install the front/lint filter assembly. As you manually rotate the drum, reach along the top and side of the drum and gently pull the belt out of the groove and into its normal ride position. Install the front panel, plug the unit in, start and check for proper rotation of the drum.

Just rehook the clear tube back onto the air dome (back right side of drum), drain any water from the drum, the refill, pressure switch will reset itself. Start to fill on small load size first, then move up when washer starts to be sure it reset all the sizes.
