Have you plugged both of these into the back of the tower? Ensure the keyboard is in the appropriate plug-in, and the monitor's power cord is plugged into both the wall and the monitor itself.

My HP A735W is turning on but stays in power save mode and no key board or mouse function

I think the issue is your monitor. If the monitor constantly says Power Save Mode and not let anything else display then the monitor might be bad. See if we can isolate the problem by the steps below.

Try booting up in Safe Mode and see if the monitor works ok.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. If it works ok in safe mode then the monitor is ok and we might have an issue with a setting.

Try connecting another monitor to your computer. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor works ok, then your original monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor does the same thing as your original monitor then the issue is with the computer (possibly the video card).

Monitor is in piwer safe mode press any key on the keyboard or move ouse. NOthing happens.

Check your PC connection.

If thats fine, most likely you have some bad capacitors on your power board. Desolder them, then solder on new compatible ones.

Also please clarify your question a bit more. What exactly happens when you first turn on your monitor? Does anything come up? Does the power light turn on?

TURN IT OFF ATER 1 SECOND from turning on

Hello sir/maam, good day, the problem is caused by the power supply board, this board is replaceable, but you may need to disassemble the unit. But first make sure that the CPU is not the problem? to confirm, you should here the single beep (good) or the keyboard numlock led is on and off as you press the numlock key.

Power light goes out but power remains thru the m-board fan runs

you need to replace the power supply. The fan sound is the fan for the power supply and not the computer. for cheap parts or used goto headgap's. They know what you need and probably even help you replace it yourself.

Its the capacitors on the backlight power supply. Samsung installed crappy ones and they blow up after a year or two. Change out the caps and you're good to go

My computer monitor is blinking on and off

You will have to have your power board and inverter redone. This is probably a transistor problem that is causing the flashing. You could also have a few bad capacitors.
I do a lot of monitor boards via ebay. I haven't done this model yet.
If you take it apart and send me pictures, I can tell you what to look for if I see anything.

ViewSonic Monitor has trouble to wake up after been shut down?

Ok sounds to me like a power supply problem.. this a a fairly common symptom. I suggest that as a temporary fix you set the monitor to NOT turn the power off to the monitor in sleep mode if possible, in your power settings for the monitor.
