Question about Televison & Video
Universal remotes are not gauranteed to be compatible to every type of TV set. There are just too many variences over a very large span of models for the manufactures to handle.
Normaly, the universal remotes will only do the basic functions of the set, and some of the menu functions but on a limited base.
I would suggest to persue in getting the original remote. This should work for sure.
