The most troublesome part within the cnp65y is #knp-me-110-3p1, cylinder ring assembly. If this part is bad, air will leak out the nose. This white plastic ring seals the cylinder to body and is visible when head is removed. Pull cylinder and remove the ring. Examine for cracks or anything unusual and replace as needed. Available at www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good luck with your repair.

My pneumatic nailer

ok, so your nails are correct size gauge, and the right length too?? sometimes when shooting at 120psi into pine the nail is blown through the material. test it on something first something thinner that you can see if its working at all, or put in like 5 nails and see after you shoot if you still have 5 nails in the magazine.
if so make sure, nothing is obstructing the magazine chute to the driver, also make sure the nails are in the correct slot for them to be struck. keep me posted.

Bostitch 16 guage straight nailer jambs every nail

tip of your piston may be damaged... or the feeder system is not bringing the nail fully into position. You may have to file the rail to correct any damage that a jam may have caused

Miss fires and wont sink nails depth set deep and pressure over 120 psi

If no air is leaking from gun, miss-fire is usually caused by worn or too tight piston oring or lack of lubrication. Easy test. Disconnect airline, remove nails, point nose of gun up then down. Driver should stay in uppermost position. If driver moves up then down within gun replace piston oring and retest. Set pressure to about 100psi. Good luck with repair.

I need stainless nails for Makita AF505 nail gun

Your nailer uses 18 guage straight nails, from 5/8" to 2" long. As long as you meet these requirements it doesn't matter if they are basic bright, galvanized or staniless nails. If you Google or Bing search "18 guage stainless steel nails" you will find several mail order places that carry the nails you need. Not very many places carry stainless steel nails in stock because of their cost. Unless you live in an area where their use is predominant you will have to order them.

Nails fail to feed

Without knowing your model number here are some things to check, in order of difficulty:
1. First make sure you're using the proper nails for your gun. If your gun isn't specifically listed on the box of nails as compatable make sure they are seating in your gun properly. Some brands of angled nails are a couple degrees off from others and won't work in competetor's guns.
2. Check the entire feed path of the nails in the magazine all the way up to where the driver catches the next nail. Sometimes dirt builds up in the track or there could be a peice of nail stuck in there preventing the nails from getting under the driver. Also the spring on the feed shoe should have strong pressure on the shoe all the way up to the head and the shoe has to ride freely in the magazine.
3. If the gun is making holes in the wood the driver isn't broke but it must be straight and true and the tip square. If not it will miss or slip off the nail before driving it. The only way to check the driver is to remove the head on the gun and take the driver out. The piston & driver should travel from the top to the bottom of the cylinder without binding anywhere. Correct any problems you find or replace any damaged parts and your gun should work.

Air nailer bends nails

could be couple problems first make sure using the right type of nails I.E. collation and degree of angle. Next look for jammed nail in the nose area and then look at the nose condition for excessive wear and lastly look at the tip of the driver for wear and not being square so it drives the nail straight.

What is the angle of the 15 gauge nails for this gun and what nails are compatable

You did not mention the brand or model of your gun, however, you can determine the angle needed by placing a straight edge in line with the path of the driver and measure the angle from this edge to rails.. If the straight edge to the rails measure 90 degrees or makes a right angle, you need "0 degree" nails, if it measures 80 degrees, you need "15 degree" etc. Most generic nials 15 gauge nails will work. No need to by branded nails unless your gun requires an unusual angle. Good luck.

Dewalt cordless nail gun fires but doesn't seem to feed the nails very well, alot of misfires.

Try another brand of nails -- maybe your gun doesn't like those. Also, blow any dirt out of the nail magazine.
