SOURCE: Coleman Powermate 6250 generator
You will need to contact Powermate directly (see below), and give themthe CORRECT model # info that you have there on that Genset.
Unfortunately what you posted above doesn't help out at all as there isNO model # for reference. Certain models are no longer available asthey have been discontinued and only by contacting Powermate directlywill you get the proper Operators Manual.
There should be no charge for this and most likely it will be a PDF download sent by their service dept.
The model # should be found either on the engine decal plate or else on the generator head assy or it's power panel.
Please post me a reply as to finding this solution being the bestresolve to your missing Operators Manual problem by following thecompany references & links below. Also please rate mytroubleshooting fix as well.
Keep me posted and I'll follow up as well.

You need a quart of regular old SAE 5W30 motor oil with detergent.
The engines on these generators are more or less the same as a lawn mower.
Don't forget to service/change the air cleaner when you change the oil, that should keep your generator producing full power.

What can happen with these generators is there is a shield built into them to devert the heat that is produced but it is still released into the surrounding components and causes a plastic rain guard to melt slightly around the edges and the melted plastic fuses to the armature and causes voltage drop through the brushes due to lack of contact. It is a relatively simple fix but it requires a rebuild kit that can be purchased aftermarket through your local generator dealer. It provides instructions for the rebuild but are often times confusing and it is usually cheaper in the long run and less hassel to let the dealer install the rebuild kit for you. If you do decide to attempt this yourself there is an 800 number provided where it can be registered and it will allow you to access schematics online for this rebuild. Hope this helps, good luck!
