Hi, whenever a Fuse Blows, one should NEVER simply replace it, without first trying to find out why it blew, Fuses DO NOT spontaneously fail EVER.
With a problem like this one MUST call an electrician or a Air Conditioner engineer, as there is a very real danger involved.
Most likely you have some sort of overload, or short circuit to earth.

Please find above three websites that you can use to assist you to tracj down your problem if you wish to DIY.
If not then please contact a Haier Service center or local or head office and ask for a referral to an authorised service center /man. Then ask the repairer for a "Quote" before allowing any work to commence, this way you can get an idea of costings etc.

You should also open the comressor comparment, the flash you saw is a result of sparking, you will see a black mark from burn and smoke at the point you have the problem, which is short curcuit that is why you have the blow fuse.
Most possible is the capacitor of the compressor, other posibilities are the compressor it self or even some humitity which evaporate and touch an elctrical live wire.
In any case the problem is electrical and not mechanical and you need a very good visual inspection and also with a tester to confirm the exact part that is short curcuit the electrical wiring.

Car dashboard lights wont turn on and smell of burning wires

If you're smelling insulation burning - STOP. Fuses should be blowing before insulation melts / burns.

Have the car checked my a trusted mechanic before using anything in the car that makes the wiring burn or melt.

Hi,

Actually there not supposed to burn up. I have read some reviews on that model Kenmore and it seems it is plagued by electrical problems.

I would definitely contact Sears customer service.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Smelt burning smell in the morning stopped cooling

I suspect the start relay burnt on the compressor. Now the compressor can not turn on. You need to repalce the relay.

Broken wire from wire housing to top control panel of AC Unit

bad stuff dude, you are going to pay about the same for the part as the unit, unless you learn to bypass that and put it on a light switch, black wire to fan and black wire to compressor on one side of the light switch on the other side the "hot" wire bringing power in, best of luck

I heard lots of clicking, smelt a vague burning smell, then machine stopped

IT SOUNDS LIKE A PROBLEM WITH THE MOTOR,WIRING, OR TIMER. SOMETIMES THE TIMER MOTOR WILL START CLICKING AFTER IT GETS SOME AGE ON IT. IT IS UNUSUAL FOR THAT TO CAUSE YOUR PROBLEM. THE SLIGHT BURNING SMELL COULD BE THE MOTOR. IT MIGHT HAVE TRIPPED THE OVERLOAD ON THE MOTOR FROM GETTING TOO HOT. AFTER IT HAS COOLED AWHILE, THE OVERLOAD SHOULD RESET ITSELF. YOU MAY WANT TO ADVANCE THE TIMER TO SPIN AND SEE IF IT WILL RUN NOW.

SOME RETAILERS OFFER NO CHARGE ON THE SERVICE CALL IF YOU END UP BUYING A NEW REPLACEMENT APPLIANCE FROM THEM. ASK AROUND.
