HI. This phone is defective and every provider knows this. The design is flawed. The battery will separate, slightly, from the contact, thus, causing a loss of power to the main board. When this occurs, the phone will shutdown and restart. This is a well known defect in this phone and i cant believe they are still selling this unit. With that said; If you have had it less than 30 days, return it back to the original place of purchase and exchange it. Now; if you have had it longer than 30 days but less than 1 year, file a warranty claim for it as per the owners manual through LG Electronics, or contact your providers warranty department.
If in case you have had this device for more than a year, then file a insurance claim for it if you have been paying monthly for insurance on the device. This phone is not serviceable under this condition and shoudl be replaced for free.
