I have run into the same problem. I lost the spring for the line feed. I contacted customer service listed on the manual. (What a joke!) After two weeks waitThey are only an importer of the Power Glide brand line and have NO PARTS other than replacement spools. I have now contacted Ace Hardware customer service and Jeannie there advised that this unit is discontinued by both Ace and the manufacturer.

My advice: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING WITH THE POWER GLIDE BRAND. THEY CAOULD NOT CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS.
