Question about Jenn-Air Refrigerators
It is your inlet valve. behind the refrigerator where your water line is connected. Most refrigerators the water dispensor will work without the icemaker. If you have no water entering your fridge into your icemaker then it is your inlet valve

SOURCE: ICE MAKER
Your ice maker works off a different side than the water dispenser. Most times the water control valve is the problem yet it has 2 sides one for water and the other for ice. You can check the ice maker by filling with tap water. Let it freeze and if it dumps the ice and tries to refill I would say the water control valve part number 4389177 will need to be replaced. SOURCE: Ice Maker Isn't Working Anymore
yes the door dispenser and the ice maker have separate valves it could be the ice maker valve isn't working properly could be the motor module is bad on the icemaker its self get a 10 gauge piece of wire about three inches long strip about 3/8 to1/2 in off each end pull the front off the icemaker and you will se a bunch of little holes they will have letters on them put the wires in the holes marked t and h kind of wiggle it side to side and watch the ice maker if it does nothing then replace the motor module on the front of the icemaker (you don't have to buy the whole icemaker you can buy the module separate ) if the ejector blades move then when they get to the bottom pull the wire out wit for it to complete its cycle see if it fills if it doesn't then change now if your ice bucket is in the door that can be a whole different animal reply to me and let me know what you find and if you have the icemaker in the door dont buy anything till we check it out as a mater of fact if you pull the bottom kickplate off there should be a tech sheet in it or in a plastic bag under the fridge

The water tube to the icemaker inside the refrig maybe frozen up. Thaw out with your hair dryer. To make sure the tube is clear. Shut of the water to the refrig, disconnect the inlet water line to the icemaker. Insert a flexable through the connector fitting, I used a zip tie. The flexable item should go all the way to the icemaker
Solution #2 Replace the "water inlet valve" at bottom back right of refrig. Easy To Do.

SOURCE: MY ICE MAKER WON'T WORK
This is an error code for the icemaker fan motor.
If the control does not see a signal coming back from the fan motor you will get this error code.
Please see the image below from the service manual that explains the ER IF error code.
The ER IF code indicates a failure of the icing fan.
You may notice slower ice production but the other fans should be okay.
You can select the ultra ice option and see if the fan toggles on.
The fan or the control is bad.

Tips for a great answer:
Aug 17, 2014 | GE Profile 26.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side...
Aug 16, 2014 | GE GSS22JER Side by Side Refrigerator
have two sides to the water control valve. One side is for the water coming from
fountain and the second side is to refill your ice maker after each cycle of
dumping ice into the ice bin. The freezer should be a 5 degrees or below for
the ice maker to function properly. If the ice maker is empty then fill with
tap water up to top edge of the ice maker and allow to freeze. If after the
water freezes and dumps the ice into the ice bin the ice maker does not refill
I would recommend replacing part=> 67006009 Dual Water Control
or here=> 67006009 Dual Water Control Valve
If the ice maker has old ice inside and does not want to dump itself it will be considered defective and the ice maker core moduel will need be replaced=> W10190972 Ice Maker Assembly
