Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I am having problems with my toshiba satellite L54 laptop. the problem is, the internet will stop working once in a while when I am online. and the only way to get it to work again is to shut the computer completely off, and then turn it back on. Then I run the "diagnose and repair" function from the task bar. Only then, is my problem able to be solved by clicking on the "turn on wireless capability" button. I have to do this 3 or 4 times sometimes. It gets really frustrating. The "turn on wireless capability" button is nowhere to be found on the computer unless I restart the whole thing. Is there any way to keep the connection from failing, or maybe to somehow keep the wireless capability from turning itself off? or even finding a way to turn the wireless capability back on without having to restart the computer? PLEASE HELP! :-)

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

My laptop is moving really slowly and google won't load. I have chrome Wrong computer above should be Toshiba Satellite PC

To fix this multi problem laptop i would suggest to perform complete optimization. Here are few tips:
- Reinstall chrome

- Remove temporary internet files
- Stop unwanted services
- Repair corrupt registry entries
- Update the drivers that control your PC

For an instant fix use Intel Software Partner Reginout.

To download and install the latest drivers use ddriver scanning tool that will search for updated drivers online. You can get driver scanning tool here:

Try a different mouse, that would prove where the problem lies. Looks to me like the mouse is failing.

My wireless internet doesn't work, and the on/off switch is turned on

Hi,  Please do the following: Start>Run>type devmgmt.msc>under device manager>Right click on Wireless network adapter>uninstall, once done, click on scan for hardware changes on top. the network adapter would be back on its place. If that doesn't resolve the problem, reinstall the driver for wireless network adapter using the link given below: http://www.drivershq.com/Drivers/Toshiba/Satellite/L305-S5894/4183/9941/42341/Drivers.aspx

hope this resolves your issue.
your feedback is appreciated. Askari :)

You should upgrade your RAM memory. Check with the owners manual and purchase RAM module. Install the RAM module in the memory slot provided at the bottom of your laptop.

You should also check the speed of the internet connection you use.

Is that an External Card because if it is you may have to switch to a different USB hub and then put the driver CD in and download the driver again
