Have you just installed this processor as an upgrade?? Check the jumper settings on the motherboard and the multiplyer in the bios.You need 133Mhz clock speed. With the multiplier of 23 which is set in the bios automatically by the CPU id 23x133 = 3.06Ghz. I suspect that the jumper settings are for 100Mhz so 100x23 = 2.3Ghz.
